The Carrier KFCEH2501C08 is an 8-kilowatt electric heater kit to be installed in fan coil units. Fan coil units are associated with hydronic systems of HVAC, which rely on hot water to warm the rooms. The heater kit provides the additional hot water by heating it electrically so as to complement the heater. Failure in meeting heating demands or inadequate temperature control is supplemented by an electric heater once the water temperature is low.
