Carrier HK06MB023 Dual Pressure Switch

The Carrier HK06MB023 Dual Pressure Switch is a safety part which is meant to safeguard the HVAC systems from detrimental pressures. It functions in the manner that it measures both high and low pressures in the system. The switch has two pressure sensing elements which are the high pressure sensing element and the low pressure sensing element. If the pressure in the system rises to the high limit or if the pressure drops below the low pressure setting then the switch will position itself in the open circuitry breaking the circuit to the refrigeration compressor. This avoids machining or damage of the armature compressor, condenser, and other parts of the refrigeration apparatus.
