It is a temperature-sensitive component that measures the amount of heat inside the system and is typically fitted in the HVAC Systems to ensure the equipment operates within acceptable operating temperatures and does not get damaged. Includes the opening of the electrical circuit by the switch when the temperature is than normal and closing the circuit automatically when the conditions are normal. This involves the convenience of an automatic reset of the system.
