The Intermatic E1020 is a 24 hour mechanical in-wall timer intended for the accurate control of circuits that provide electricity. This in-wall timer has a voltage rating of 125V and a frequency rating of 60 Hz with an SPDT switch type. It can operate in low temperature conditions, as low as -40°F, and high, up to 130°F. The device is rated at 3 watts The E1020 timer is used in the control of HVAC equipment including fans, heaters and air conditioners to improve efficiency and minimize cost. It achieves this by enabling users to put on and off timings hence the HVAC systems are only on when necessary.
