Trane COL16276 Coil Assembly W/Pan Aluminium

The Trane COL16276 is an external drain aluminum coil assembly for split-system air conditioning and heat pump equipment and includes a drain pan. These systems use refrigerant to draw heat from the air inside building and expel it to the outside environment. The coil assembly is particularly essentialin this heat transfer process. Constructed from a yet strong aluminum, the coil is made up of a number of thin tubes through which refrigerant can flow. Finally when the warm humid air flows across the coil, the refrigerant takes heat from the air thus cooling the air. The condensate drain pan collects the moisture that is produced in the course of this process.
