Trane BLW01138 One Stage Blower-Draft Inducer is intended for improving efficiency of the residential gas furnaces in HVAC systems. It works through developing a vacuum effect slightly below the chamber where combustion of gas takes place, to ensure that the gas is burnt to the maximum. Improved combustion enhances heat transfer, efficiency and decreases in emissions. It is usually applied on mid-efficiency and high-efficiency gas furnaces. Some of the advantage include increased fuel economy, lower operating expenses, less pollution and less noise than the conventional draft hoods.
